A Typical Day at Summer Band Camp
Students at Summer Band Camp are placed into one of four bands (Beginning, Cadet, Concert, Symphonic) based on their playing ability and experience. Each camp day consists of a Master Class (instrument specific lesson), Sectional (Woodwind, Brass or Percussion) and Full Band Rehearsal.

The last day of camp culminates in the evening with a band camp concert.
Our instrumental specialists work with small groups, offering targeted instruction outside of the full band setting.
Woodwinds, Brass and Percussion groups meet to work on music and techniques specific to each family of instruments.
Each day students meet for a full band rehearsal, preparing music for the end of camp evening concert.
The final Day of camp features an evening concert by all four performing groups and select small ensembles.
"The camp teachers are so nice and really help you get better on your instrument."
